A dozen employees of a voter registration organization with ties to former Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and Bill Clinton were charged in Indiana this past weekend. They are accused of submitting fake voter applications in the run-up to the 2016 general election.
According to local officials, at least twelve canvassers for the group are accused of falsifying documents and submitting fake applications.
Prosecutor Terry Curry called the allegations, “a very bad, ill-advised business practice,” adding, “These […] pertain to voter registration applications provided to county officials before the November election.”
According to Fox News, the group claims to have registered nearly 45,000 applications ahead of the 2016 presidential race.
The workers can face up to two and half years of jail time and a $10,000 fine.
Do you think these individuals should be punished to the fullest extend of the law for their crimes?
